This weeks learning we did Making shapes from shapes. I made a boat, flower, some shapes and a funny looking horse. I really liked this because we get to see what shapes we can put in each missing place. I kind of used my Imagination to put the shapes in. My favourite one is the hexagon, boat and the smaller hexagon. I put some hexagon because my group is called hexagons! I think next time I will put more shapes on the boat.
Hi Reneem, your shape pictures are so cleverly constructed! You have put the pieces together carefully and the colours you have combined are very effective. I paricularly like the horse. You have used shapes to make him look like he is moving. Well done! Which shape did you most enjoy creating?

I really like your horse, it has a sense of movement - I can imagine the horse galloping around. Aren't you lucky to have Mr Rattenbury setting such fun learning activities?
